Keep Immaculate was founded by Lydia Montoute, an award-winning entrepreneur who has been engaged in the beauty industry for a number of years.
Her first foray into beauty was in 2004 when she brought the beauty invention of the Kim Mask™ to market; a device that prevents face makeup from being disturbed when changing clothes, protecting garments from makeup contamination in return. The Kim Mask™ won a British innovation, invention award and has become a valuable customer service aid with high-end clothes retailers, creating luxury, comfort and more freedom for customers when trying on clothes and protecting stock from damage caused by customers’ makeup in their changing rooms.
Growing up, Lydia had very poor quality skin. Taking inspiration from her Caribbean roots and way of life, Lydia investigated homeopathic treatments with formulations for good that had been passed down through her diverse heritage family generations, remembering instances in her childhood when her father made soothing balms and oils from seasonal and local botanical ingredients that worked in tune with the body to combat aches, pains and skin ailments. Much of this knowledge was passed down from slavery in the Caribbean where a lot of manual work was put upon free labour workers, and in order for the workers to continue in good strength the next day, workers developed quick remedy self-care ointments and rub techniques for fast recovery. Lydia also saw her father work with his clients’ respective needs in keeping with the changing seasons to target their wellbeing. Taking this inspiration she created the All Over Essential™ range of oils that harnessed this and created the Sentiment Check™ to aid the impact the seasons have on our wellbeing.
..is Lydia’s belief behind each product, treatment and practice.
Lydia’s plan was that each recipient of her skin care, massage treatments and products would receive distinct results: offering self-awareness and the freedom to feel good, as well as receiving the desired aesthetic skin care and wellbeing results targeted to their particular condition. Behind each product is her belief that well-being and beauty comes from self-awareness. She believes that someone in tune with their beauty and wellbeing is better equipped and more mindful to be kinder to themselves, kinder to the people they come into contact with, and more likely to look after their environment, making the world a more harmonious and beautiful place to live.
Many years prior when Lydia was a student, a friend of hers travelled to Japan and brought her back a heat pad as a gift. Lydia was fascinated by the way in which heat naturally occurred in the product and always kept that concept in mind. Many years later she realised how invaluable this concept was when she incorporated it with her oils to enhance their beauty benefits. Lydia realised the use of her seasonal skincare oil combinations became even more potent with the use of controlled heat, enhancing the simple, caring, nourishing ingredients for beauty and wellbeing effects. This was a true innovation for the beauty industry.
And so, Thermal Therapy™ ‘massage and beauty therapy treatments for body tone and youthful skin’ was born, innovating Impact Heat Release Technology™ with the principle of heat-based treatments.
Working alongside a team of professional collaborators, Lydia combined the science of nature and the healing of nurture with contemporary massage techniques and her uniquely-blended All-over Essential™ oils to develop powerful signature massage; facials, body, foot and arm treatments that work perfectly to nurture beauty and self-awareness senses in tune with the seasons.
The Thermal Therapy™ experience started as a professional treatment in a high-end Mayfair salon in 2010 using our uniquely-blended formulation essential oils for skincare and well-being treatments, introducing the ‘seasonal skincare’ routine to hundreds of customers.
We aim for our customers to create a great life of beauty and well-being from our good quality products that nurture and produce results so, in-turn whilst living within a fast-paced 21st century lifestyle, they can be nurturing and compassionate to themselves and others by simply practicing ‘beauty from self awareness™’.
In 2013 we opened the Keep Immaculate Training Centre from premises in Kingston and award-winning facilities in Richmond. We got into the business of developing people. The training is entrepreneurial start-up business-focused for body massage qualified therapists and business owners who want to use our philosophies and beauty concepts to run their very own franchise businesses.
What has followed are qualified Thermal Therapists proudly providing results lead treatments to many happy customers who have resonated and benefited greatly from our approach and results. We have leaned on passed down historical Caribbean knowledge of Lydia’s father and embraced many years of knowledge, research and development working with our business collaborators: experienced professionals, bio chemists and practitioners with a passion to continue to create quality beauty products and well-being treatments embedded within our philosophy, the seasons, self-awareness, the alchemy of aromatherapy and essential oil properties.
